Fashions by Ava

Ava designed two dresses during quiet time. This one she got on all by herself. We have no idea how she taped the dress all by herself.

scootie scoots off the table

landed on his face... had a bloody nose, bloody lip and a bruised chin. He sucked on his bottom lip for a few hours and would not eat but he looked good as new the next day.

Now we have him sitting in the high chair.

Is Quinn in there somewhere?

Quinn is hanging on Papa's leg he did not want him to go home.
Dad enjoying his pan fried chicken at the Castle Cafe. Excellent... just the two of us went to dinner and it was great.

The Bakers

Dad has been here for the past five days. We really enjoyed having him. This is what he did most of the time he was here.

Snowflake, the butterfly that Ava got from preschool. We released him in the backyard on Monday.

Baker's first ride in the Johnny Jump Up

Welcome to the Rockies

We had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed many animals. Elk, deer, big horn sheep, beaver, a friendly chipmunk, woodpeckers, and moose. We can't wait to return.

Coyote...yikes

the kids deserved a nice dessert today

so tired after their long hike

This is where Auntie Chocolate would be. Early morning coffee on the balcony. What a fantastic place the people were so wonderful. The owners told the kids about earning badges for walking a trail. But there are three rules: no whining, you have to walk the whole distance and you can't ask "are we there yet?"

This is what Baker did most of the way. What a trooper!

We made it to "The Pool" were the kids earned their first badge.

One of the three moose that we saw along the trail to "The Pool". Very rare I guess.

Elk by the side of the road. Two were standing in someone's drive way.

The kids and I relax in the hot tub after the long hike. We had a great meal at the Rock Inn that night.

This one is for Aunt Becky
Copeland Falls where the kids earned their second badge
