Quinn tries out the fireman gig

At the St. Francis of Assisi church picnic, Quinn got a chance to hold the fire hose with the Castle Rock Fire Dept. He was thrilled. He would love to be a fireman some day.

our anniversary trip to Mexico

To celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary Brent and I spent 5 nights in the Riveria Maya at the Secrets Silversands Resort. All inclusive, is there any other way to go?

This is a picutre of our room from the webite. Beautful!

Since we told them it was our anniversary they gave us the Anniversary package. Rose petals on the bed and floor,,,

Champagne and fruit

Brent had to take a picture of the mini bar fridge. He thought that Dad would love all the ice cold Cokes in glass bottles.

Every night there was a terrific show. The first night was an 80s music show called Rock of Ages

Fireworks, make-up, and long sweaty hair. It was awsome.

We saw this iguana almost every day. He lived at the pool by our room
one full day in and look at the tans.
Boy I need a hammock at home.

The mariachi band singing to us at the El Patio. We loved the tree with the lights and glass ornaments. We bought a heart shaped glass ornament for our Christmas tree at home.

Last days of Summer

The last days leading up to the start of school has been crazy. We took the kids to a new "fancy" restaurant in Park Meadows Mall called the Yardhouse. We loved it. Good food, Good drinks and the kids loved their meals. All of us got dolled up for the occasion. This is one of my favorite pictures of the kids. When I am made at them I look at this picture to see their smiling faces.

We also had Zak and Harry come over for lunch and we made sock octopi.

I also took the kids to the Wildlife Experience Ava had never been so it was a great time especially for her. We watched a movie about turtles, watched them feed the sharks and got to go on a small zip slide. This is the only picture that I took while we were there. Baker and the monkeys...

Nanee Lulu the "Back to School" fairy sent new water bottles for Ava and Quinn and new flashcards for Baker
