Quinn made a beautiful picture today. I asked him who was in the picture and he said, " this is me, there is Ava, that's Baker, this is you with your big, fat belly and here is Daddy." How nice.

While Ava and Quinn made pizzas. Baker enjoyed eating the black olives, cheese, pizza crust and even pickles. He pretty much most table food, his favorites are avocados, pears, pickles and waffles.

camping near Winter Park

Camping near Winter Park with Geoff and Trina and their son, Ben. Nicole and Jeff with their daughter, Lauren pictured above. Jeremy flew out to be with us as well. The weather was beautiful by day but Friday night was around 38 degrees. Wicked cold. Baker was a popicle in the middle of the night. We all had a great time. Even saw a moose on the way in.

Ava drew this picture at kindergarten. She is with Quinn on the monkey bars at school. There is a seesaw under the monkey bars. I love this because it is her favorite part of school.

Ava loses her second tooth

Climbing Trees

Ava and Quinn are now official tree climbers. Look how far up they got. Ava pulled the picnic table over to the tree, made a loop to put her foot in with the jump robe and got herself up. Quinn followed behind.

The Douglas County Rodeo

We took everyone to the Rodeo at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Everyone had a great time including Carter who we could hear laughing. Quinn is wearing his birthday presents: new rodeo shirt and cowboy hat.

Ava's first day of Kindergarten

Ava starts her first day at Meadow View Elementary. Her teacher is Mrs. Zimmerman. She likes her a lot. So far the most I can get out of her is that she like to play on the monkey bars at recess with Grace.

The Flying W Ranch

We had the greatest time with the Hellwig's. Fun at Garden of the Gods then to the Flying W Ranch where we explored a western town. Sate in a teepee. Danced with the Native Americans. Ate a chuckwagon dinner and enjoyed the cowboys singing.
