Swim lessons
We started the first week of summer vacation with swim lessons at The Grange. SwimTLC is the company that supplies the instructors and they are fantastic. The Brooks kids were there too so it made the morning very fun. Since the pool is heated, they never close due to weather. One morning it was 47 degrees and the kids still went in. They loved the steam pouring off the water. Most of the mornings they drank hot chocolate while waiting for the pool to open.
Baker can now jump off the edge of the pool without anyone catching him (that is mostly because of Nanee Lu). He also kicks all around the pool by himself with just his floaty. He went down the slide 4 times, two of those all by himself.
Quinn can now do a back stroke as well as freestyle.
Ava has now passed level 5. She can freestyle, back stroke, side stroke, almost everything but the butterfly. She loves it!
Quinn also passed his slide test. This means he can go down the slide all by himself. He was not able to do it last summer so this is a milestone for him.
