St. Patrick's Day and other March pictures

Here is what the Leprechaun did at our house.

Leprechaun footprints. He looked through the markers to find anything that was gold

He colored our  milk green
Later that afternoon the girls (and Quinn) had a lemonade stand. They make $41 (mostly thanks to some very generous neighbors) and donated the money to the Operation Rice Bowl.

Keystone, CO

We had a great time with our fun neighbors Trey and Andrea this weekend. On a whim we took a couple of nights and stayed at Silver Mill #8255 in Keystone. Trey and Brent took the older kids skiing while Andrea and I toss back a bloody mary and talked while the 2 year olds hung out.

Visit from the Stauffacher/Al-Zoubi Clan

Last week, while the kids had their first week of Spring Break the Al-Zoubi's and Nanee and Papa came for a visit. The kids played so great together and the only one who got sick was Brent. Luckily for him it was after he skied with Angie and Ava. Here are some of the highlights from their visit...

On the first morning Ava made these delicious treats (yogurt, a strawberry, granola topped with a blueberry muffin) Tres Chic!!!

Next the boys opened their Easter presents from Nanee and Papa. New Legos!!!!

That night everyone snuggled down for a popcorn movie night

Monday morning! Brent, Angie and Ava skied at Winter Park. The first run was icy but it was slushy after that. Angie took Ava down her first mogels. She loved it.

While the three skied, the remaining two adults opened a nursery center. The boys worked on their legos while Sahra and Baker played games and colored.

we also had them blow the paint around with straws.
To round out the afternoon we made marshmallow structures and painted them with watercolors. This was a lot of fun.

The older 5 work on decorating guitars for their rock band... Sahra enjoyed this the most and spent an hour with glue and jewels.

Our new favorite park. Gemstone Park. Climbing wall. Slides. Swings. Prairie Dogs. What else could you ask for...

backyard entertainment

We spent our Sunday afternoon making a gravel pit for the kids in the backyard. It turned out really cool. It's been a blustery day but the boys and Ava had to brave it anyway.
