Let's go fly a kite....

Bison Park near our house is the most a fantastic place to fly a kite. Most days I am not too happy with the wind there but for kite flying it is pretty amazing. Baker thought it was pretty cool since he had a snack with him.

Goodbye Crib, Hello Big Boy Bed

Baker went into his big boy bed for the first time on Sunday. I think Ava and Quinn were more excited then Baker. If it was up to me, my baby would have stayed in there until he was five but Daddy said it was time.

The crib made it through six kids...first the Ulrey's ...then the three Stauffacher's

All the Batman's were out to help in the celebration

Happy Easter Everyone!

We had a wonderful Easter with the Reckseen family. After church Tim and Brent took the kids to Bison Park to fly kites. Followed by an Egg Hunt and dinner.

I am so proud of my table this year. I dug out green Depression glass dishes. Haven't used them in a long time. I also found the flower holder which the tulips are sitting in. The name plates came from Pinterest (of course).
We dined on a grilled pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes, asparagus, and salad. For dessert Strawberry Tart.
 The flower frogger. Quite pretty.

All five children did fantastic during Mass. I was so proud of them all. Thank you for the Easter outfits Nanee Sylvia!

Ava wanted to make her own table decorations for the kid's table. She colored a beautiful Spring picture and taped it around a vase. Nice idea!
The kids made the Empty Tomb buns for dessert. Roll a marshmallow in melted butter and cinnamon and sugar. Wrap in dough and bake. We explained that the marshmallow represents Jesus as they buried him in the tomb but on Easter Sunday when they went back he was gone. That he had risen to Heaven.
