2010 Halloween Night

Thanks Tim and Tiffany for having a great Halloween party filled with spooky treats.
Baker was a puppy-quite fitting since I tell the kids they don't need a dog when they have Baker

Quinn's Halloween Party at Preschool

Quinn's Halloween party at Miss Natalie's was great. They sang songs, played games and decorated cookies.

Dinner with the Witch (Colorado version)

Ava very much missed some of her favorite Halloween activities in Indiana headless horseman at Connor Prairie and Dinner with the Witches at the Children's Museum. So being the Mommy that I am, I made dinner with a witch (me-dressed in a cape and an orange wig). Grace came over and we had mummy meatloaf, jack o lantern melon and for dessert... witches broomsticks. Everyone had a great time.

we found a place in Manitou Springs where you can play the horses. Using the game of skeetball each "jockey" moves his horse to the finish line. Vicki won most games.

some of the drills at ava's party

Ava's 6th Birthday party

this year for Ava's party she wanted to have a Football/Cheerleader theme. Everyone was to dress in a football jersey or cheerleader uniform. The players made pennants with their names on them. Coach Brent took the players through drills of push ups and sit ups. There were games of skill such as tackling, punting and throwing. Ava, Grace and Rachel cheered the boys on when they were not playing.

Castle View Hight School's newest cheerleader

Last Saturday, Ava and Grace spent the afternoon with the cheerleaders and poms at a Cheer Camp. Everyone had a wonderful time. Ava loved her Cheer Buddy Kaylee. Tonight was the football game and the Cheer Camp got to perform with the cheerleaders at half time. Ava and Grace were able to sit with the squad during the first half. As you can tell she was thrilled.
