Papa Todd hits Castle Rock

The beginning of February Nanee Lu visited for two weeks. Four days after she left Papa Todd came for 10 days. Papa took Ava to Michaels and bought her a fancy pencil and a sketch pad. Papa, Ava and Quinn were busy all week getting ready for an art show and their new museum in the basement.  Everyone had put in their favorite pictures. Quinn made some snakes out of clay. Baker had handprint art to add to the display.

Dad and I spent many hours doing our favorite things together. Eating out, listening to the oldies and watching black and white movies. We also got dad out of the stone ages. He fell in love with iTunes and went out and bought an iPod shuffle. It is a start but he loves it.

Dad read to Baker many books that week. His favorite at the time is  Brown Bear, Brown Bear. He also watched Baby Einstein with him and worked on his vocabulary.
Ava and Papa Todd talked about Egypt and Cleopatra, drew all kinds of pictures together and listen to music.

Quinny and Papa worked on building things together and wrestling (Quinn's favorite).

This is my favorite picture of the week. Every day Dad went to get a cup of coffee he reached for the cup that Kim brought back in November. It has bras and panties all over it and says "I see London, I see France". I asked Dad if he realized he was drinking out of a cup every day that has women's underwear on it and he reply was typical Todd. "What difference does it make?"

Ohh!! I also must forgot... Brent, Dad and I had a fantastic night with all of the Reckseen's including Tim's mom and dad (Rex and Maxine) we tried out a steakhouse called Bastien's. It was terrific. Of course we seated Tiffany as far away from Dad's extra rare slab of beef. It might become a tradition with our families.
