Last weekend we spent the night at Mueller State Park. It was a very nice campground with awesome views of Pikes Peak. The older kids really enjoyed it. True outdoor lovers. Baker not so much. Doesn't sleep, doesn't eat and all around crabby. When we first started to unpack the car Baker picked up my travel mug and spilled coffee all over his jacket. Then later that night he tried to drink my beer and spilled that all over himself. He smelled like a drunk old man. Then the next morning he tried to pick up my travel mug again this time with boiling hot water and spilled that all over himself. Luckily, he was not burned because he had so many layers of clothes on.
The next morning the kids had cruellers and hot cocoa while they waited for eggs and canadian bacon. Ava thinks the best part about camping is the food. I would agree. Hebrew National hot dogs always taste better over a fire and campfire mac n cheese is the best.
