Saturday, February 25, 2012...Brent, Ava and Quinn joined Nick and Jackson to go skiing in Winter Park. It was pretty windy so they shut down some of the chair lifts. They had to be snowmobiled back up the mountain. Ava and Quinn thought that was pretty cool.
Our plan was to have dinner at Nick and Shauna's house later that day. When Baker woke up from his nap he had a 102 fever, very lethargic, would not keep his eyes open for too long. We headed up to the Urgent Care to find out that he had pneumonia and possibly the flu. Luckily it was only the pneumonia.
Laying on the floor of the Grange while I worked the Zumba for over 50s class. He did get up eventually and dance a song or two with the ladies.
Little mister refused to take any medicine. The pharmacist told us to put it in drinkable yogurt. That worked!!! for a couple of days. I ended up taking him back to the pediatrician to see if they could give him an old fashion shot of penicillin. Unfortunately, pneumonia is resistent to the stuff. We switched his antibiotic and got him an inhaler. Seems to be working much better.
