the 2nd annual big car trip...

First stop is Madison, WI for a little Stauffacher time. We went to a Mallards baseball game, the Farmer's Market on the Square, walked State Stree and the Union. Even climbed Bascom Hill.

even Aunt Gigi thought it was quite a hop on Abe's lap

celebrating Quinn's birthday early with baseball cupcakes

Next stop...the Hellwig's for a lot of pool and hot tub action.

And when they weren't in the pool they were asleep
Nanee and Baker napping together. Mom was doing great after her knee replacement (well until she got a cold)

On to the next state...here we come Indiana. Heather was wonderful enough to pick us up in Kenosha  and drive us back to Indiana. Once again Heather and I packed the van to the roof with kids and luggage. They were awesome and everyone took a nap on the way down. We under fire since we had to get Julia to her softball tournament by 5:30. We made it with a few minutes to spare.

Please note how they are all color coordinated.
The Lego Boys. Quinn said to me when we left, " Mom - we have to send Jack some lego's for Christmas"

Baker decided that he had enough in the car and colored himself like a Smurf.
