This year we had an adult only costume party to go to. Brent and I search for weeks for a perfect couples costume. We decided on a 1940s pin up girl and Brent went as a sailor. (Thank you Army/Navy Surplus). I had the hair going with the big victory curl in front. In the third picture you can see the penciled on stocking seams. I had to explain to Ava that pantyhose were only made out of silk back then. They needed the silk during the war to make parachutes so they no longer made pantyhose. Woman would use a eyeliner pencil to "pretend" they had on stockings. She thought this was fascinating.
We carved our pumpkins the week before Halloween. They barely made it to the big day.
Of course you can tell who's is who's....
This year's Boo treat---I vant to give you a treat....
The day of Halloween... costumes before school were not the same as the ones they trick or treated in..
