Happy Happy Birthday, Baby!!

My sweet baby girl, Ava Grace has turned eight years old. I have to admit she caught me teary eyed when we looked at her baby and toddler pictures. Seems like yesterday that she was born.

This timeline says it all...

Baby Girl Stauffacher is born on October 11, 2004 at 5:05 p.m.
she weighed 7 pounds and was 21 inches long

 shortly before her first birthday

around her second birthday we find her sitting on the couch with her favorite things: hair style stuff and dede bubba she is probably watching the Headless Horseman. It was her favorite movie for about a year. She also loved Bootie (Sleeping Beauty)

Nanee Sylvia made the Barbie cake for her the year she turned 3.

for her fourth birthday Ava received her first American Girl-Samatha from Nanee Sylvia

on her fifth birthday we celebrated at the Wisconsin Dells. I remember this because I was very pregnant with Baker.

we celebrated her sixth birthday in Colorado. Ava wanted a football/cheerleading party. This is when she started to loose teeth too.

Ava's face has changed in one year. On her seventh birthday she got her ears pierced and two adult front teeth.

On her eighth birthday we celebrated with piece of cake from Grace and Miss Katie

we also went to Sushi Train for lunch on her birthday. She gave it a two thumbs up.
Ava wanted to try the Spider Roll
and for dessert the chefs made a bunny out of an orange for each of the kids
Baker did not fancy the sushi but he did like the orange
I love how they use their chopsticks for everything

A few days ago we had Ava's birthday party at Party On (a bounce house place).
She invited a few friends from the neighborhood and a few from school. Here are some of the pictures.

Instead of a cake, Ava wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake. Can you see the eight?
